Since the time change, sunlight is limited. So we are sharing a few tips to bring in as much sunlight as you can, in the few hours you have. Here a few tips on how to clean your windows super fast.

First the Ingredients:

Forget commercially-made window cleaners. It’s cheap and easy to make your own! Simply grab an empty spray bottle. Rinse it well if it’s been used for something else. Then add:

2 cups water (if you do this first, you won’t have to deal with bubbles)

1/4 cup white vinegar

1/2 tsp dish soap

Now shake it up and watch it bubble! You can use a bucket and make a larger batch of this cleaner with the same proportions, if you have a lot of windows to clean. Once you have the spray it’s time to tackle the windows.

1. Grab your spray bottle of your newly-prepared cleaner

2. Spray your windows thoroughly (be careful if this requires a ladder!)

3. Wipe with a sponge

4. Immediately spray windows with clean water (use your spray attachment on your garden hose)

5. Walk away

That’s right…walk away. This cleaner is streak-free, so you don’t need to towel dry or squeegee for clear, sparkling results. Enjoy your clean and beautiful windows!
